It was my last day of work on Friday. And I was happy for that. I did not feel like being a laboratory technician was all that me. For the good effort I gave myself a new haircut and some fresh flowers before picking up a bottle of wine and joining my friends around the barbecue fire.
Now it is Sunday and I wish I had a bicycle to take me down to the deli to pick up the Sunday Times.
I guess I will just have to walk. But then again I can always walk along the ocean side.

The weekend that passed in photos.

After going to my yoga session, grocery shopping and dry cleaning
I jumped into my little car and drove off...


...I drove past the city...


...and ended up in this beautiful house.
For a party!


The place had horses...



...and a Norman Bates feel to it.
Very cool.

Then Sunday came along with
a brunch in the park!




It was a good one,
this weekend.

Cheap Sundays.

I love long Sundays so
I decided to wake up
early today.

I checked the waves
-nothing-
so instead I did
the flea market tour,
got a fresh coffee,
read the news,
washed laundry.

I found heaps
of stuffs!
(Might show later..)
It only needs a bit of
customizing now.

And all this for a mere
4.30 euros
5.24 us dollars
Including the regular
sized take away java.

Well done I say.


And I just finished my Gatsby.
It was a good read with a lot
of jazz era vibes.

So now I am happy
and ready for some
action in the kitchen.

I am back. And I am tired.
My grandmother is now 70 years old and she has been married to my grandfather for 50 years. They have what we call in Finland a 'Gold wedding'.
Splendid!
So we had a party.
My whole loud family and I.
It was grand.



I took a lot of pictures.
I even found a great pair of sunglasses!



This is what I wore.
I found it in Paris for 7 euros.
All the Parisiens thought it was hideous.
I found it lovely.

SF Weekend

Anyway...

I've replaced SBux w/ Peet's =))). I prefer Blue Bottle any day, but since they're not as commercialized - not in every corner of the City - as Peet's (or SBux), Peet's will do. Wayyy better and consistent (& stronger!).

Anyway, the market today is full as usual; even though the weather is sucky. I love eating and having fresh veggies and fruits in the house. The only thing about our outdoor market here is('sustainable farming') they're produce is mostly what is in season. We don't get yearly of the same produce of veggies and fruits. So whatever is in season is what they only sell.

It's a healthy way of living - variety is healthy for your diet.
