***When 6-year-old Elena Desserich was diagnosed with brain cancer, she began hiding hundreds of little love notes around the house for her parents to find after she was gone. Here’s the story:

Just before her sixth birthday, Elena Desserich (right) was diagnosed with brain cancer and given 135 days to live. She lived 255 days, passing away in 2007. After her death, Elena’s parents, Brooke and Keith, found hundreds of notes from Elena hidden around the house — in between CD cases, between bookshelves, in dresser drawers, in backpacks….

"It just felt like a little hug from her, like she was telling us she was looking over us"

WAFU Dressing!!!!

Ingredients

3 tablespoon Salad or Vegetable Oil
2 tablespoon Vinegar or Apple Cider
1 tablespoon Sesame Seed Oil
1 tablespoon Light Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon Lemon or Lime Juice
1 teaspoon Sesame Seeds
A pinch of sugar
1 tablespoon Grated Radish, to be added before serving

What is in the bowl


Shredded Japaneses Cabbage
Frisée
Tomato Slices
Japanese Cucumber Slices
Avocado Slices
== What is in the Spring Onion Salad Bowl ==
Shredded Lettuce
Cherry Tomato
Shredded Spring Onion
Fried Onion

Directions

Just mix all ingredients together!
Note:
Adjust the flavor accordingly to your taste. If you prefer less sour then add less vinegar.
You can make more dressing and keep it in the fridge.
Optional ingredients here are the sesame seeds and grated radish.
